Dave Romero

CEO Caban Investments Ltd | CEO TBL Capital (Pty) Ltd
Dave is our qualified Professional Accountant and founded TBL Capital utilising his 24 years’ experience in Corporate Finance. During 2012, Dave entered the Private Equity arena again, using his experience to help other entrepreneurs and build their success. To that end, he founded Caban Investments Limited of which he is the Group CEO. He also founded Caban Capital PLC, Caban Investments UK Limited, TBL Capital UK Limited, and UREG Investments Limited. Dave also serves on the board of South African Small and Medium Enterprise Federation (SASMEF), and Salesian Life Choices.

Ben Botes

Ben holds Master degrees in Psychology and Business Administration, and has more than 15 years experience in finding, leading and working with technology companies both in the UK and South Africa. He now oversees the development of Caban Capital PLC, a business geared towards supporting entrepreneurs in various markets worldwide. Ben is the co-founder of Investors Network, SA Business Hubs, My1stBusiness, SA Business Plans, and StartMe. He is also the author of numerous books on a number of issues in small businesses, and has been featured in articles in FinWeek, The Mail&Guardian, The Times, and the Wall Street Journal for Europe newspapers. Ben is also currently an associate lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Middlesex University. Ben's current projects concentrate on the provision and improvement of online networks and resources for first time business leaders and entrepreneurs, and he has consulted on these issues for organisations such as Accenture, Hewlett-Packard, Business Link UK, The Prince’s Trust, and Shell.
